Last week of bike and skate Camp will be August 4-8th. If youve already been to a camp call for a great deal on the last week.

Free Flow tour BMX contest will be sunday August 17. Its 21 and under and only  2 classes  $10 to ride. prizes and a trip to the freeflow finals in Orlando.

Commuter specials. Ride for FREE!!  Gas prices are killing everybody, So we are trying to help out here at Ramp Rats. Come in Monday to Friday with 3 people and the 3rd guy gets half off. Come in with 4 people and the 4th guy ride for FREE!!!

Icer Air bike and skate contest at AT&T park in SF will be the week of October 18th or the week of October 25th. Bigger course and bigger Pro Purse. It will definately be Off the Chain!!!!!!

We have a totally new Ramp set up with 7ft hip. step up jump, The wall ride is back. A sick little mini for the skaters and a 6ft mini for the bikes and burly skaters. Everybody likes it so it must be good. Photos on the photo page soon.

We had a Sony PlayStation/Woodward Am Jam contest here recently and the kids went off. It was 18 and under only and we had the most Sony/Woodward has ever had at a BMX stop. And the best overal riding they said. Conner Lohdes took the win.

Closed Monday May 19th for the S and M dealer Party. The Fit/SandM/Metal/Black Market/Revenge crew are coming to show appreaciation of their dealers. If your are a SandM/Fit dealer you probably already know. Not open to the public, sorry.

June 1st (sunday) BMX contest. Amateur and pro contest. sign ups/practice at noon. groms will start at 1pm. super grom 15 and under at 2pm, super grom 16 and over at 3 almost pro at 4 and pros at 5:30. We will be BBQ'n all day so come check it out. $25 for am with prizes and $50 for pro with 100% payback.

Summer is coming and that means Summer Camps. Check the Camp page for info. We will open at noon all summer

Mtn Dew Free Flow Tour contest which is 21 and under will come back to Ramp Rats for the 3rd year will be In the middle of August. Watch for dates and more info.

Solid has some new frames out in limited numbers. They weigh approximately 4.7lbs with some custom Solid eagles in a few spots on the frame. Pretty incredible what they can do with metal these days.

We have a new Grom skateboard team. Jake, Mike G, Austin Funk, Kevin, Nick B, have been notified so far. A few more spots open. That leaves Noah, Brandon, Chris and Jason E on the A team. Noah will be leaving for San Diego for a few months after Graduation then getting married in Santa Cruz where he will be settling down. Thanks for the years of help Noah!!!! 

Congrats to Chad Smith. NorCalBMX.com orginator and the guy who built the first NorCalRampRats.com site graduated from SD and is now working in Houston Texas as a Rocket scientist. Who would have know that a dirt bag BMXer can be a Rocket Scientist! Congrats Chad!!

Icer went OFF!!!!! Tousands of people digging the BMX contest.
Dennis Enerson showed up and took home the $1000 first place.
Kevin Kiraly a close second. The event Organivers said were were
the hit of the weekend. Next year, Bigger area, bigger budget....Sicker contest.
Thanks to Jeremy, Dennis, Squrriel, Beau, Buddy, Big Steel, Cheeks
and all the rats for the help. It was work and a lot of fun.

Mtn Dew Free flow tour contest was July 1 and it was pretty good.
21 and under amateurs. Front Flips, turndown flips, 3 whips,
720's were in the house and a few close 1080 attempts by
Garret Adams from Modesto. RR had a total of 56 entries
which was the most MTN Dew BMX enties so far in the
whole country. Last year we had the most with 59.
Ronnie Michilini got first with Dakota Mattert 2nd and
Kenny "high5" Keokuk getting 3rd. Ronnie will be going
to Orlando to rep NorCal BMX at the Free Flow finals.
Thomas Adams from Oroville won the jr jam(15 and under).

Local shredder Brian Miller went on tour with 2-hip bikes
to do shows around the country and get Paid. Japan turned
it down because he has a new girlfriend. Oh...
and I was told he left the Free Flow contest early
and didnt compete cause his girlfriend called.
Thats not BMX. Clear Lake/RR local Ricky Bush
is throwing Front Flips and turndown flips after
and a couple weeks at Woodward.

Remodel at the end of Summer..
We are remodeling the park again at the end of Summer.
The Bowl is up for Sale. $1500 includes Skatelite and Coping.
You Must Haul it out in 24 hours to make the deal.
New BIG Trail/park style lines are replacing it.
BIG wide Box jump, Big hip with curved wall ride.

ICERAir. There is a snowboard/ski jump contest in
AT and T park (Giant stadium)in San Francisco
and this year they Ramp Rats building a 3600
park and Mike wants to throw the sickest contest in NorCal.
$1000 for first place both bike and skate. That will be November 1.
